I hereby request an invitation to participate in the BBYRA Regattas for 2012.    I understand that incomplete registrations will be returned.  Completed registrations must include payment, and for PHRF boats a copy of the current rating certificate.    Boats shall comply with ISAF Rule 75.1.  “To enter a race … she shall be a member of a club or other organization affiliated to an ISAF member national authority.

Boats eligible to sail in both Cruising and One Design need only pay the Cruising fee.

Registration becomes VOID for any returned check – check will be returned to presenter.

 

RELEASE:

Neither the Biscayne Bay Yacht Racing Association, its officers, member clubs, their race committees, members, or agents assumes or accepts any liability or responsibility for property damage to any boat, or any personal injury to a skipper, crew, or friend suffered while participating in these races including pre-race and post-race activities.

The safety of the boat and its crew is the sole, inescapable and ultimate responsibility of the skipper.  The suitability of the boat for the weather expected during the course of the race, is the responsibility of the skipper, as is the sole decision to start or continue any race.  The skipper shall be responsible for the boat, its handling and safety, and the conduct of its crew while ashore as guests of the Biscayne Bay Yacht Racing Association member clubs or facilities and compliance with the sailing instructions.  It is the responsibility of the skipper to ensure that the crew is familiar with these conditions of the races. 

APPLICATION:     In consideration for your accepting my entry: 

I hereby agree to all the conditions for these races, which I have read and understood.  I have evaluated the condition of my boat and the abilities of my crew.   I am familiar with boat racing of the type and quality within this race series,  am familiar with the waters over which courses for this race series are scheduled, and have made the decision that my boat and crew are suitable for this race series.  I do for myself and my executors, or administrators, heirs and assigns, waive any and all claims as may occur to me or them against the Biscayne Bay Yacht Racing Association, its officers, members, employees, agents, Race Committees or any host club arising out of the participation of my boat in this race series, or arising from any related activities.
